The Lenten season is the perfect time to slow down, pause, and reflect on Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. During Lent we not only reflect on our need for forgiveness, we remember who Jesus is and what Jesus has done to reconcile us to God. One of the best places to turn to do this is the Gospels. This Lenten season, Vintage Church is going to study the Gospel of Luke, and in particular, specific passages where Jesus sits down with others, eats with them, and teaches them grace, community, and mission. Join Vintage Church for this special season as we encounter Jesus together.
Tim Chester brings to light God’s purposes in the seemingly ordinary act of sharing a meal―how this everyday experience is really an opportunity for grace, community, and mission. Chester challenges contemporary understandings of hospitality as he urges us to evaluate why and who we invite to our table. Learn how you can foster grace and bless others through the rich fare being served in A Meal with Jesus.
