With Christmas just a few weeks away, the Christmas story is on our minds. Yes, we think of Jesus, but we might think of other important characters too. People like Mary, Joseph, the shepherds, and other lesser known people like Simeon and Anna. We might be familiar with the story, but have we stopped lately to think about what they might teach us? As we enter Advent, what lessons might we learn from each of these characters as we both celebrate the birth of Jesus and anticipate his return?
