Sermon Description

What does God have to say about racism? Racism exists because sin and Satan continue to wage a spiritual war against us individually and systemically.

vGroups

In lieu of a formal discussion guide for this series, we're going to spend time in focused prayer. Each week we will be praying for 2 different things: 1. A topic related to the sermon and the series and 2. One of our ServeNOLA partners. Join our church as we pray for ourselves, our church, our city, and our world.

Racism Series
  • Pray for our hearts to be broken over the sin of racism. Repent of any implicit or explicit racism you’ve held or committed.
ServeNOLA Partner: Grace at the Greenlight
  • Health of staff and volunteers as we continue to serve through the pandemic.
  • Pray we will be able to meet the needs of the newly homeless because of the pandemic. We are expecting a huge wave of newly homeless when eviction courts open back up at the end of the month.
  • Pray for the hearts of our homeless, that they will be open and see the gospel through us as we meet their basic needs.
  • Pray for wisdom of our leadership as we make decisions concerning how to lead our program well.
